Transformando is a non-profit cooperative founded in 1998.

We seek to help people so that they might get better access to the opportunities they need to improve their livelihoods.

We strive to commit to the following principles and values in our relationships with our stakeholders: implication, independence, cooperativism, austerity, solidarity, social equity, responsibility and tolerance.

In Transformando we have two main areas:

Services for self-employment and generating income activities: our goal is to enable socially excluded people to employ themselves or improve their working status by providing them the necessary tools so that they can integrate into society economically wise.

What do we do?

• Training: in all the phases of the business plan
• Training to trainers.
• Mentoring/tutoring: to entrepreneurs who find themselves in difficulties
• Microcredits: Transformando has impelled the “Fundacion Incluye” (in partnership with the Fundacion Un Sol Mon from the Spanish Bank Caixa Catalunya), which provides microcredits for employment.
• Publication of handbooks
• Research and consultancy

Services to social agents, orientated to consultancy and training to NGO´s, Public Institutions and Training Schools.

What do we do?

• Project management training
• Project formulation and evaluation
• Strategic planning and quality processes
• Social researches

And we are also running these two programs:

• Self-financed Communities program: we are supporting the creation of self-managed financial groups
• Participation program through association: creation and strengthening of local immigrant associations as a way of integration in society.

TEAM: Transformando has a multidisciplinary team who participate in the different activities and projects. Each member has successfully completed his/her studies, has experience in the private sector and shares the common social education and compromise.
